  • :: I for one can never resist these delicate, romantic roses, who else is with me? It’s easy to see why I fell completely head over heels in love with these fluffy beauties today 😍🌸✨ #aflowerenthusiast . Definitely worked my preggo body to the max - just carrying my dslr camera around for the afternoon means an extra nap will most likely be on the cards for me tomorrow 😂 . Hope you had the loveliest weekend! x
  • :: a 31 week bump update of me frolicking in the prettiest of rose gardens; my favourite place at Anglesey Abbey. The scents of all the roses here are absolutely heavenly and always reaffirm my passion for one day growing my very own English rose garden at home 🌹✨ . This photo was taken earlier last week when James and I stopped for a quick wander en route to see my parents, so I’m now 33 weeks ☺️ Today also marked the first of our NCT classes! We had so much fun on a full day course (which surprisingly wasn’t overwhelming at all)... it did however remind all of in the class just how quickly the weeks are rolling by! 💛 . What are your plans for the weekend ahead? I’ve had a very quiet week, so I’m looking forward to Sunday - James and I have a little day date planned at another rose garden in Suffolk, so I’ll try to share my floral-filled wanders with you on stories. .   • :: a day to escape to the coast would be very welcome right about now... I think all this warm, muggy weather lately has left me craving a fresh sea breeze and cool water to paddle in 💙 . On Tuesday we had another growth scan on baby and she’s looking healthy and happy in there. I on the other hand am still finding things a little stressful, especially the day before these appointments (conflicting advice from different consultants has become my main gripe), but seeing baby’s beautiful face on the screen, even if this time she was covering it with her hands, made me feel instantly calmer 💛
  • :: happy Monday you lovely lot! How was your weekend? . I’m nesting all day every day at the moment 💛🌿 and my goal is to have all those little odd jobs around the house done and dusted in the next couple of weeks 🤞🏼 they always seem to be the ones that take forever, don’t they?! . The kitchen and hallway are still very much in need of painting white, but I’ve become considerably clumsier in recent weeks so step ladders are definitely a no-go for me now... I’m going to resort to painting what I can safely reach, but that still leaves a lot of beige wall to do 😆 so, who is willing to pop over and do the painting for me? - I’ll provide copious cups of tea and biscuits 😉
  • :: is it a bit of an Instagram faux pas to post two photos of myself side by side? I hope not, because I’ve been feeling all the emotions this week and the arrival of some rain has made me feel so refreshed... plus this baby bump photo just makes my heart sing - only 10 weeks (which feels like no time at all) before I’ll be cradling our little one in my arms ❤️
  • :: oh hello, just me, cradling this sweet bump of mine in the beautiful walled orchard at Ickworth Estate last week ☺️🌸🌿 ...I was also a little obsessed with that textured blue door behind me, isn’t it lovely! . How are you spending your bank holiday weekend? We’re enjoying a relatively chilled Sunday here; some gardening, plus ticking off a few things on our to-do list around the house and for baby’s room 💛 . I’m now 30 weeks and have been thinking now is a good time to get my hospital bag packed... my decision making skills seem to have almost completely gone out of the window recently 🙈 so I’m still trying to decide which hospital/changing bag will be perfect for both mama and baby — do you have any suggestions or ones you simply couldn’t live without? .   • :: I’m currently sitting on the sofa in my comfiest night dress, enjoying baby’s evening dance recital and feeling quite astonished at just how strong her kicks have been over the past week! I wonder how this will progress over the remaining 11 weeks of my pregnancy... wish my pelvic floor good luck! 😂 . I’ve been gazing at the striking purple-blue flowering tree in our garden a lot today; just like the one in this lovely little scene... and it’s crazy to think this was captured almost one year ago to the day while on holiday in Wales with James. It reminded me how the path that led to today was so far from easy and how much things have changed in a short space of time - I’m distinctly aware of this fact, and call me soppy but I’ve never felt such overwhelming thankfulness 💛
  • :: I honestly cannot get enough of these pretty Cambridge streets - and this has been my hometown since I was two years old. The details on these little terraced cottages are 👌🏼 don’t you agree? ...one even became available to rent a couple of years ago and I have to say it was oh so very tempting until I noticed the price! 🙈😂 . If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
